Beerwah Glasshouse defeat Gympie at home.
A traveling Gympie side were completely outclassed on Saturday night as Beerwah Glasshouse dominated from the outset. Moving freely through an open spaced midfield, Beegees took their chances and led 2 goals to nil at half time. More chances came in the second half but the home team was unable to capitalise on their majority possession winning the match 2-nil. They now face Caloundra at home next week.
Maroochydore down Beegees 7-0
An injury depleted Beegees team has been dealt a savage blow to their title hopes with a 7-0 drubbing by Maroochydore. Down 3-nil at halftime, Beerwah Glasshouse threw caution to the wind and attacked in an all out effort to peg back the scoreline. However, the gamble failed to pay off as Maroochydore put another four past the keeper much to the dismay of the traveling fans. Beegees will need to regroup and take all three points in the their upcoming matches if they are to have any hope of making the top four in 2009.
